Essentia Health’s pharmacy services expanding in Wisconsin

SUPERIOR — Essentia Health is opening a new pharmacy in Superior on July 12 to better serve our patients in the area.

“The Essentia Health Superior Belknap Pharmacy will be a convenient location for patients to receive pharmacy services, including all their retail needs, specialty medication pick-up and immunizations,” said Kenzie Hohman, senior director of ambulatory care pharmacy. “In addition to the new retail pharmacy, the consolidated service center will be home to our mail-order pharmacy (the prescription service center), specialty pharmacy and several centralized services, including prior authorization and pharmacy administration.”

Essentia also has retail pharmacy locations at St. Mary’s Hospital-Superior, 3500 Tower Ave., as well as the Superior East Pharmacy, inside Super One at 2202 E Second St.

The new pharmacy, located at 204 Belknap St., Suite 100, is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
